As minas de Formorgar estão velhas e abandonadas, e localizadas próximas à grande Formorgar Glacier. Os mineiros de Carlin trabalharam duro e encontraram vários minérios preciosos por lá. Porém, devido à uma invasão de serpentes marinhas eles acabaram fazendo uma rota insegura entre Hrodmir e Carlin.
As minas ficaram congeladas devido à uma grande tempestade na ilha, mas ainda há uma forma de explorar as minas. Ela é composta de quatro diferentes andares com todos os tipos de criaturas vivendo nela. Bem no fundo das minas está localizada a tumba de Yakchal, em que a temível bruxa do gelo Yakchal está em um sono eterno. É dito que um culto antigo está sendo praticado dentro das minas, em que os magos das trevas chamam por um demônio chamado Ghazbaran. De acordo com alguns boatos, o plano deles é derreter todo o gelo da mina para poder reviver antigos demônios, na esperança de conjurar o temível e mortal Ghazbaran, um dos archdemons.
