			Logo inumeráveis mortos-vivos percorriam o mundo. Afinal, Tibia ainda estava coberta de incontáveis corpos de orcs, ciclopes e outras criaturas mortas – o legado de muitos anos de guerra incessante. Esses cadáveres proveram a Urgith o campo de recrutamento ideal, e ele avidamente transformou todas as carcaças que conseguiu colocar as mãos em seus servos macabros. Os deuses assistiram horrorizados enquanto uma nova praga assolava suas criações amadas. Eles se apressaram em finalmente botar seu plano inicial em ação, e Uman se uniu com a terra a fim de gerar Toth o Guarda das Almas. Parecia que Tibia estava para sempre condenada a ser um mundo habitado pelos mortos-vivos.

			Os deuses antigos olharam para o que tinha acontecido com seu mundo, e seus corações se encheram com tristeza e ressentimento. Eles sabiam que se não agissem agora, Tibia seria destinada a se tornar um túmulo, e então começaram a procurar por uma solução. Eventualmente eles concordaram em tentar criar uma nova raça ciente de si mesma, uma raça que seria forte o suficiente para tomar a luta contra as hordas que devastavam seu amado mundo. E assim eles criaram uma raça e a mandaram para Tibia. Mas ai! Os agentes de Urgith foram muito fortes. Sua raça foi destruída em apenas uma geração, e foi varrida da face de Tibia. Então Uman e Fardos criaram raça após raça, e raça após raça foi superada pelas perversas abominações que Urgith havia lançado no mundo. A maioria dessas raças desapareceu da face de Tibia para sempre, deixando pouco além de lendas melancólicas e ruínas misteriosas. Hoje, essa triste era é comumente conhecida como a Guerra dos Cadáveres, e é amplamente envolvida em mistério, e as raças infelizes que foram destruídas nela são conhecidas como os anciões.
