Mortos-Vivos Humanóides não estão mortas e nem vivas. Alguns deles foram homens e mulheres certamente normais, mas eles morreram a muito tempo e em muitos casos, eles caminham pelo Tibia como monstros descuidados, aterrorizando aventureiros e matando qualquer um que os encontre. O cadáver não é transformado diretamente em um undead. Provavelmente foram transformados em mortos-vivos dessa forma para virarem soldados em uma guerra.
Normalmente uma pessoa falecida para se tornar um morto-vivo teve que ser um estudante de Urgith. Pessoas que não estão informadas com as artes enigmáticas da necromancia são normalmente guiados por Toth, o Diretor de Almas para o fim eterno.
Desde então muito poucas criaturas podem se fazer "undead", a maioria das criaturas de undead foram convertidas ou foram suplicadas por Necromancers.
